A spacious character property with beautiful exposed stone, ancient beams and gorgeous fireplaces. Views across garden to fields beyond. Enormous open-plan kitchen / dining room with bespoke oak units and work tops. The dining area has a farm style table and chairs, comfortably sitting 11 persons. The spacious lounge houses a beautiful log burning stove, two large sofas, three armchairs plus a sofa bed (which transforms into two comfy single beds). Two shower rooms, with large corner shower cubicles (thermostatically controlled). Two WC's. One bidet. Two wash hand basins. Cots and high chairs available. Stair gate and smoke alarms. Lark Rise is truly perfect for extended family wishing to holiday together.

Bed 1: A very spacious master/family bedroom which sleeps up to three plus baby. Superking-size bed (6') + single divan. The double bed can convert into two singles if required. Ample room for cot.
Bed 2: Large double bedroom with king-size bed (5') and space for cot.
Bed 3: Twin Bedroom.
Bed 4: Twin Bedroom.
Please note: a sofa-bed in the corner of the lounge converts into a further two single beds.

 

Our Facilities

The luxury in-ground heated swimming pool is situated in the walled garden to the rear of the property. The pool is for the communal use of all three cottages. There are steps spanning the entire width to facilitate easy entry and exit. They also provide the ideal perch for young (and not so young!) to sit in shallow water and relax. Surrounded by a sun terrace and lawns the pool garden is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life. The garden is not overlooked and has views over fields of sunflowers in summer. Sun loungers and pool toys are provided. Toddlers have their own inflatable pool. When you tire of the sun shady spots can be found under the walnut tree and vine covered pergola. To enable our guests to relax and enjoy their holiday, we can provide:

We couldn't believe how lucky we were... a lovely pool and comfy sun beds (for Mum), a BBQ for practising culinary skills (for Dad) and as for the boys ... where do we start ... sand pits, bicycles, pool, table football, basket ball, table tennis, darts, lego, duplo. It was a boys' haven. Not to mention the hours of fun that they had in the pool. It was a holiday of firsts for them both .... a wobbly tooth for Harry, eating fromage de chevre and they learnt to swim. We wouldn't have done that at the beach!"
